The Good, Bad & Ugly

I mean the title in a good way ;-) Can't help it, I am cursed with this witty wit & have to express it at the expense of my audience.

So, what's new with you all? I hear the Parker Family Singers have returned from sunny Florida - and it's still standing. That's good. How's about some stunning photographs from your time down there, Steve??

I have also suggested a task to our resident snowmobiler in the crowd. Yes, HE'S the guy you want to blame for this lovely winter we've all had to endure . . Any ways, as it turns out, Lake Simcoe has apparently developed a bit of a growing Iceberg! Yes, reports I've got places it off the coast of Georgina Island. I've seen some pics, but we'll wait (for the time being) to see what our intrepid reporter has to post in this regard. Good luck Kevin (oops - did I say that out loud?), we're all counting on you.

Now for the Good/Bad/Ugly segment. First off, I'd like to say a big 'thanks' to all of you, I mean BOTH of you, for letting me know the videos worked I posted on the main site worked on your computers. That helps me with my future plans in the world of Internet Empire construction. With that in mind, Paul, I'm getting the together video I threatened you with & it should be posted here tonight or tomorrow . . .

Back to the subject at hand. Three videos for tonight, starting with - you guessed it - The Good. The 'Good' in this is a clip of the beautiful new view we have & will be enjoying from the back of Boogaboo, overlooking clear waters & nature at Everglades. Ahhhhhhhhh.

The 'Bad' is non other than everyones favorite square head, pulling Water Wings into Everglades for he first time as a paying customer (with that boat);

The 'Ugly' wasn't really, but it fit with the theme. The rain we all experienced on the Thanksgiving long weekend found it's way through the many, many holes in the roof of our slip. Looking forward to the repairs promised for the spring. Darn, I knew I shouldn't have paid for the season up front!

Close Call

Now this is what you call a close call on the water. I bet all four guys on both boats had to change their drawers aft this one;

Got It!

Me been spending too much time working out the Flash Video player thing - but finally got it! I know this is breaking with tradition, but check it out on the Rotten Row main page.

I'd really appreciate hearing some feedback from you all on that . . . . .

Christmas In June @ Night

This one's from Christmas in June ('07), on the front deck of Boogaboo. We were watching the pretty decorated boats head out for the twilight run. Listen to the comments on the fact that were NOT drinking on the dock :-)

On that note, we were talking to Doug Bunker (Orillia Chamber of Commerce) at the Boat Show and he told us that the Cop who was out of control last summer has been transferred to a completely different post. So, partiers at the Port won't have to worry about him bugging us this year - open bottles or not. . . .

Follies - WOW!!

Good news. You'll be happy to know I've compressed 100+ hours of editing into a mere 43 minutes of the masterpiece that will be henceforth known as the 'Rotten Row Year End Video - 2007'! Happy, you think? Yes, like I said, it's only 43 minutes long, so we won't have to worry (I hope) about falling asleep during the customary premier - which is only 1 week away!!!!

As we speak, the final draft is busily rendering it's magnificence on my hard drive. Come Sunday, I'll start burning the DVD's for anyone who wants one.

As a bit of a teaser, here's a run down of the chapters included in this year's version;
'They're Back' ("They're heeeeeeeeeeeeeere")
'Starting Over - Parts 1 & 2' (the sentimental crap)
'Hawaiian Shirts' (just like the invitations)
'Plastic Surgery' (we can rebuild him - we have the technology)
'Gilligan's Island' (Just sit right back & you'll hear a tale . . .)
'Not The Hair' (keep count, Honey)
'Keswick Taliban' (it's WAR!!!)
'C.E.D.S.' (the 'Little Guy' & his 'Big Guy')
Plus, a Bloopers portion and the best Countdown yet - it gets a 10!

I wanted to mention a special thanks to Graham - skipper of the vessel 'Free Bird' - for jumping in to help out with some last minute crucial footage ;-) As well, honourable mention to little Ugly Pugsly for providing inspiration for the C.E.D.S. segment.

See you on S A T U R D A Y
